Earthscope delivers talk for Zurich Isle of Man

By Sarah Mercer

Want to create real climate impact? Stop ticking boxes and start pulling levers.

We had the privilege of speaking with Zurich International’s extended leadership team about how to drive meaningful climate action—not through endless to-do lists, but by identifying Keystone Actions. These are the high-impact moves that trigger a cascade of positive change, making sustainability easier, not harder.

Like the keystone action of reintroducing wolves to Yellowstone, who changed the course of the rivers, sometimes a slight shift can catalyse systemic change. Using this lesson from nature, we can be guided in our own organisations to look for those key actions that can help mobilise, empower and inspire greater sustainability action.

Zurich is on a mission to reach net zero by 2030, and it was brilliant to see their team fired up about integrating sustainability into their work and personal lives. When organisations empower their people with the right tools and thinking, real transformation happens.

If you’d like to learn how to identify these key impacts and get buy in from your staff and customers, check out our Catalyst Series talks. These high-impact workshops are designed to ignite curiosity, stir up ideas, and give your team the confidence to start making a difference, from just £16 per person.
